Welcome to Sweet Melissa Baking Company! Melissa brings more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, where she built a career centered on caring for others, creating memorable experiences, and sharing her love of great food. Throughout those years she learned that the best moments in life often happen around the table, where fresh, homemade food brings people together.

 

In the past year, Melissa's life took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with cancer. The experience changed her perspective and reminded her just how precious life truly is. Faced with that reality, she made the courageous decision to stop putting her dreams on hold and finally pursue the passion she had carried with her for a lifetime.  

Cooking and baking have always been at the heart of Melissa's home. As she focused on healing, she became even more intentional about the food she prepared for herself and her family. She believes that quality ingredients matter- not only because they create exceptional flavor, but because they nourish the people we love. That belief is the foundation of everything she bakes. 

At Sweet Melissa Baking, Melissa carefully selects high-quality ingredients to create hand-made baked goods. Every item is made with patience, purpose, and a genuine love for the craft. Her goal is to offer food that is as wholesome as it is delicious- quality ingredients, made by hand, with nothing unneccesary.  

Melissa believes that baking is about more than just food. It's about slowing down, gathering around the table, and creating memories with family and friends. She hopes each baked treat brings a little comfort, joy, and connection into your home.
